Loch - idle animation loop

Since I drew the character inspired by Vanillaware's games (Oboro Muramasa and Odin's Sphere), I thought I'd animate him the same way!

It was kinda hard, though! I used Photoshop, Flash, Toonboom, Photoshop again and then Flash again... It was veeery experimental. I'm sure there's an easier way to do it >.<

Maybe they used After Effects in the games I mentioned, or maybe something else. If anyone knows, please let me know too!
